Universities

Clowning is increasingly becoming recognized and taught as part of the dramatic arts in colleges and universities worldwide. I teach both punctual workshops and residencies on the physical theater side of clown, the 'European' clown. I have taught at Naropa University, Cal Arts, the Warsaw Academy of Drama, Centre Nationale des Arts du Cirque (Chalons, Fr) and Capetown University.

Elementary Schools(Bay Area)

I offer school residency programs based on pedagogy from ClownZen workshops, incorporating clowning-based communication skills, circus skills and mime. Some of the values emphasized in the residencies are: Self Esteem, Communication Skills, Listening and Cooperation Skills, Presentation and Improvisation Skills, Empowerment, Constructive Humor, and Having Fun.
