A workshop for clowns, dancers, performers and other humans wishing to dig into their inner funny. This workshop focuses on the inner landscape of clown and the expression of your sense of humor through physical theater and improvisation. We will work behind the nose so to speak, working on your connection within as well as without. Develop your humorous expression and performance within the context of physical theater and European clown, incorporating elements of butoh dance, mime, voice work and taoist health exercises. Sophisticate your exuberance, enliven your subtlety, arouse curiosity and play the moment.

 

Moshe Cohen has been performing and teaching internationally since 1981. He offers workshops in theater and clown schools in Europe, as well as spiritual education centers in Europe and the US. He is a guest teacher in the Flying Actor Conservatory. This year (2009) he has taught in Burma/Myanmar, Japan, Poland, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the US.
